What is Mikal Bridges’ NBA Nickname?

Mikal Bridges, known for locking up the other team’s best scorer, has picked up a few nicknames in his NBA career:

1. “The Warden” – The one that fits best. A warden keeps people locked up, and that was Bridges’ job with the Phoenix Suns, where he guarded the opponent’s top scorer every night and made the NBA’s All-Defensive First Team in 2022.
2. “Brooklyn Bridges” – The trade to the Brooklyn Nets in February 2023 made this one too easy. He scored 23 points in his first game there, and the nickname was on T-shirts within days.
3. “The Twins” – A shared nickname with Cameron Johnson, his close friend and teammate in both Phoenix and Brooklyn.
4. The iron man – Less a nickname than a reputation. Bridges went years without missing a game, in college and in the NBA, and built the longest active streak of consecutive games played in the league.
