Jalen Brunson, son of Rick Brunson, is often called “Brunson Burner” by fans and media—a play on the term “Bunsen burner” due to his hot streaks and scoring ability on the court.
He’s also sometimes referred to as “The Villanova Kid” because of his standout college career at Villanova, where he helped lead the team to two national championships.
